Sunshine Hospitality House

In 2018, Community Contractors played a key role in bringing the vision of the Sunshine Hospitality Home to life for the non-profit Sunshine Memorial Foundation. Established by Van and Dee Larson in loving memory of their daughter Shannon “Sunshine” Larson, this home provides a vital sanctuary for patients and their families traveling to Grand Forks for medical treatment. Offering a comforting “home away from home,” the Sunshine House eases the financial and emotional burdens associated with healthcare journeys by providing a place to sleep, eat, relax, and keep belongings, complete with amenities such as a kitchen, laundry facilities, and all the other necessities to foster a sense of normalcy and support.
