UND Medical School

The New UND School of Medicine is 325,000 square feet and is 4-stories. The Medical School was ready for the 2016 school year. The facility is being constructed on the southwest corner of the intersection of North Columbia Road and Gateway Drive in Grand Forks. As you walk into the school you will enter into what they call the Main Street. You walk in and you will see a main stair going up one level, with seating along the sides and glass going up to clerestories in the roof, allowing natural light into the atrium space. There are 3 wings: 1) is for administration and teachers, 2) is for lab space for various medical disciplines, and 3) is for classrooms. All the wings are interconnected through the Main Street area.
