Alcott Manor

Alcott Manor in Grand Forks offers a unique living experience for the 55 and older community within the historic walls of the former South Middle School. After enduring a flood and subsequent fire, the old school was thoughtfully re-imagined by Metroplains Development into apartments and inviting common spaces. Community Contractors undertook the interior demolition and build-out, creating residences that feature large windows and retain some of the original school’s charming woodwork, blending nostalgia with modern senior living.
