PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In 2009, the University of North Dakota (UND) campus saw the construction of the Hamline Square Apartments, a project built by Community Contractors and designed by ICON Architects. This modern apartment complex, featuring studio, two, three, and four-bedroom options with amenities like underground parking, was a significant addition to on-campus housing. Uniquely, the Hamline Square Apartments were a generous gift to UND from the developers, providing students with the independence of apartment living combined with the convenience and community of being directly on campus. This arrangement allowed UND to offer diverse housing solutions, close to academic buildings, the Ralph Engelstad Arena, and other campus facilities, enhancing the overall student experience.
