Responding to a severe housing shortage as a result of the Bakken oil boom in western ND, Catholic Health Initiatives retained JLG Architects and Dakota Commercial and Development, Inc. to develop a 66-unit mixed-use project in downtown Williston, ND. One block off main street, there is first floor commercial designed for single or multiple tenancy, and the contoured site naturally accepts below-grade parking, with the balance provided in off-street lots. The building design incorporates brick to tie to the downtown infrastructure and modern forms and materials that give the project presence and permanence.
