True North Equipment, a long-standing John Deere dealer, established a state-of-the-art corporate resource and training facility in Grand Forks, ND, known as the Resource Center, with a groundbreaking in 2013 and completion in 2014. This facility was built by Community Contractors, and its design by JLG Architects emphasizes a blend of past and future; cultured stone on the first floor symbolizes the company’s strong foundations, while galvanized corrugated metal, aluminum storefront, and large windows on the second floor reflect growth and technology. The interior incorporates agricultural elements like sunflower shell and sorghum stalk countertops, and the training spaces are designed for both hands-on learning with actual equipment and advanced simulator training.
